When Staci turned seven years old, she was given the gift of a monogrammed towel. That did it. She was forever hooked on monogramming.  

Fast forward to the day in Austin, TX when, as a new mom, she became frustrated with the quality and selection of gifts available through traditional monogram stores and decided to do something about it.  With her love of sophisticated gifts for children, she created a boutique called The Initial Impression.  

This product-rich, resource offers modern, classic and practical personalized gifts. From art smocks to bloomers to Staci’s own line of grosgrain embellished burp cloths called Burp Couture, The Initial Impression serves up fabulously cute gifts – with an emphasis on fabulous.  

Of course, with an eye for the unique, it comes as no surprise that Staci’s store gravitates to products such as “Sweet Pete Shoes”, the adorably classic monogrammed driving moccasin developed by Kristy Crawford, and the “Pashmini®”, the luxuriously soft cashmere scarf created for children by fellow mompreneur Katie Demetriou.  

Her store also supports other mompreneurs and family businesses, including Lima Bean Kids, CuddleBee, Pixie Dust, Fontaine Maury and Mint.
